Meditation and Affirmations to Have an Ideal Day
Ever wondered why some days seem to effortlessly fall into place while others leave you feeling like you're constantly playing catch-up? Wish there was a way to live your ideal day, everyday? Well, it all starts with those precious morning hours. I'm a firm believer that a good day hinges on a great morning. So today I’m going to share the five minute morning meditation and affirmations that I use to begin my day with gratitude and in a growth mindset, so that I can have the BEST day, everyday.
Why should you have a morning routine?
I am a firm believer that a good day begins with a good morning, and it’s not just me, science has proven it! Without a structured morning routine, you might find yourself stumbling through the early hours, feeling rushed and unprepared. Personally, the days that I skip my morning routine because of a change in schedule, or running behind, or just not feeling like it - I notice a dip in my motivation, patience, and productivity throughout the entire day.
If you’re thinking implementing a morning routine seems too time consuming or overwhelming, the good news is that morning routines don’t need to be a cumbersome process. It can be as simple as waking up 5 minutes earlier, I’ll show you how.

12 Morning Positive Affirmations
Feel free to incorporate these positive affirmations onto your vision board, or write them on sticky notes and sprinkle them throughout your home or office. We’ll also use these affirmations as a part of our morning meditation below.

I am safe, and I feel safe
I deeply and completely love and accept myself

5 Minute Morning Meditation & Prayer
I recommend adding this practice in as the very first part of your morning routine, before your feet even hit the floor.
Follow along for your guided morning meditation. Meditation and visualization is extra powerful when you are able to close your eyes and truly see it in your mind. For that reason, you may wish to pull out your phone and record yourself reading the visualization below aloud, then play the recording and close your eyes.
Before you begin, take a moment to ground yourself, make sure that you are in a comfortable sitting position with your back straight, then inhale through your nose…. and exhale through your mouth.
Repeat quietly in your mind, “Today is a perfect day.”
Now, as you continue to breathe slowly and deeply, imagine a vibrant yellow light coming down from heaven - into the top of your head and flowing through your body with every breath you take.
Breath in the yellow light… Breath out and envision this yellow light flowing through your body.
This yellow light is charged with a powerful positive energy, so with every focused breath you take, your body is becoming naturally energized.
You may feel a slight tingling as this positive yellow energy spreads throughout your entire body and recharging every cell, and lightening your mind. As your life-force is recharged with this positive, vibrant energy, start to feel simple pleasure in being alive; you begin to look forward to this perfect day. I want you to embrace this feeling. Give yourself permission to feel great, to feel great about yourself, to feel great about your life!
Now I want you to quietly repeat in your mind: I am energized, I am healthy, and I feel great.
Just be quietly aware in the back of your mind that with every breath you take your body and energy will continue to recharge with light, so keep your breathing nice and deep.
Breathe in…. and out…
Now I want you to smile to yourself and pay attention to how that simple little smile improves your overall morning mood. Try to keep that smile on your face, while you repeat quietly in your mind after me:
