Visualization and Affirmations to Create Financial Abundance

Affirmations and visualization are two powerful tools that give us a glimpse into the power of our thoughts. Today I’m going to share 10 money magnet affirmations and the financial abundance visualization that I use to help you cultivate a positive money mindset. But first, let’s start with the basics.

What are affirmations?

Affirmations are simply positive, declarative statements designed to reshape your thought patterns and beliefs on a subconscious level. They serve as a tool to replace negative or limiting thoughts with constructive and empowering ones. These statements are crafted in present tense, as if the desired outcome is already happening. Through repetition they help us reframe deep-seated beliefs about money and success and open doors to new opportunities and experiences.

What is visualization?

Visualization is a practice involving the creation of vivid mental scenarios. It engages the senses, emotions, and thoughts to create a comprehensive mental experience. You’ve likely done this hundreds of times through your life without knowing it. Anytime you picture something in your mind, like how a scenario will play out, you are visualizing. By consciously and consistently envisioning yourself thriving financially, your brain starts to interpret this imagery as an achievable reality, which enhances motivation and inspires action.

Why your money mindset matters?

At the core of both affirmations and visualization is the concept of "money mindset" in other words the way you think and feel about money. A negative or scarcity-based money mindset lead to self-sabotaging behaviors and missed opportunities. On the other hand, an abundant money mindset can be a catalyst for financial growth. And affirmations and visualization play are tools we can use to help shift from a scarcity money mindset to an abundant one.

In essence, your money mindset acts as the lens through which you perceive and interact with financial opportunities. By consciously shaping this mindset through affirmations and visualization, you pave the way for a healthy relationship with money, and welcome abundance into your life.

A Financial Abundance Visualization

Follow along for your guided visualization on financial abundance, visualizing is extra powerful when you are able to close your eyes and truly see it in your mind. For that reason, you may wish to pull out your phone and record yourself reading the visualization below aloud, then play the recording and close your eyes.

Before you begin take a moment to ground yourself, inhale…exhale.

It’s that time of year again, no not the holidays. Income tax time. Finally, I now have an amazing accountant who’s made my life so much easier. I thought I’d already sent in everything necessary, but he just called and he’s asking for the December statement of my City Bank account. I think to myself, huh, City Bank? I have an account at City Bank? Dang, back in the old days, I used to be thrilled to find some extra cash in my old blue jean pockets, or even change in the cracks of my sofa. Now, I have bank accounts I’ve completely forgotten.

There it is, eureka! I found the bank statement and giving it a quick glance I can feel myself blush. That’s a lot of money to have misplaced. Now I remember, I had to open that account to deposit the money I earned from my investment income. Funny huh? Suddenly having so much money, I thought it would change me, but it hasn’t. I was never one to be ostentatious. I still live in a modest home. I mean besides the lagoon swimming pool with waterfalls and the putting greens.

I live much the same life as before except without any financial stress. I want something, I get it. My family and friends want something, I surprise them. I want to donate money to a great cause like schools in Africa, I send it. And in spite of all that giving, I am as financially solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. The most fun I'm having lately are the anonymous gifts I give to friends, family, and complete strangers. The vacation to Disney I gave to the family who lost their home in a house fire last year, still makes me cry. Especially when I read the article in the news about how happy kids when they were interviewed, who now believe in magic and miracles. I know it really is true about it being better to give than receive.

While my generosity puts people into orbit with joy, it does even more for me with emotional feel-good dividends that never seem to end. I’ve become a real- life Robin Hood, except without the robbing and the stealing. The best of the best however, is that my financial freedom found me, when I finally started doing what I love, loving where I am, and mostly, loving who I am. I found out that I already was the person I always dreamed I’d one day be. But I was just too insecure to see it. What changed? What was it that made me feel more secure? What was it that opened the floodgates of all good things? I think I know. It was simply a matter of outgrowing the need to please everyone all the time. I stopped putting myself last. I gave myself some “me time.” That in turn, opened up my heart. That in turn gave I just the tiniest direction to go out into the world, and then ironically, even though it was never about money one serendipity led to another which led to a string of so called coincidences which led to my courage growing and bolder steps taken and then, as they say, I became an overnight success. That actually took a lifetime. Now, I’m on fire, loving my life and experiencing abundance on every level not just financially and I deserve the heck out of it, and ironically again as I increased my “me time”, it eventually made me more available to all those I love. What a life. Bravo. Well done.

Thank you. Thank you, Universe. Thank you, God. Thank you for my amazing life and the financial freedom to live it on my terms.

You can open your eyes. Now, keep thinking the good thoughts. Love your life and yourself as it already is and as you already are when you do, you’re just another step closer to financial abundance.
